Ženski rad, dobar hlad
HR | Nadstrešnica nad Varoškom ulicom sastavljena je od tradicionalnih ručnih radova nastalih tehnikom kukičanja. Ova privremena instalacija sastoji se od puno malih elemenata koji su nastali ručnim radom zadarskih žena u proteklim desetljećima. Instalacija je postavljena ispred kuće u kojoj se sačuvala jedina tradicionalna ženska nošnja iz Zadra 19. stoljeća. Udruga Kamene babe izradila je ovu nadstrešnicu kao hommage ženama, kreativnosti, tradicionalnoj vještini izrade čipke te ručnom radu općenito.
EN | The canopy over Varoška Street is composed of traditional handmade works created using the crochet technique. This temporary installation consists of many small elements that were handcrafted by the women of Zadar over the past decades. The installation is set up in front of the house that has preserved the only traditional women’s costume from 19th-century Zadar. The Kamene Babe Association created this canopy as a homage to women, creativity, the traditional skill of lace-making, and handicrafts in general.
